Teamviewer is an excellent remote desktop connection software with several features that you might not be aware of. One such feature is recording a session. You can record whatever you’re doing on your friend’s or your client’s computer thus keeping a record of the same for future use or for illustration or training purpose. Everything is recorded and saved on local disk. This feature is available only during an active remote session.
How to record remote desktop using teamviewer
To record, first connect with remote desktop using teamviewer (You know how to connect ? Just launch teamviewer, enter id and password of remote computer’s teamviewer {id and pass is displayed in teamviewer on remote computer, you need to ask the person sitting on remote computer for id/pass details} and then connect)
Now click on Extras menu – Record – Start .. When you’re done. Go to extras – Record – Stop. Teamviewer will then prompt you to save file. Done!
